Long day filled with good food (plenty!), proud producers, beautiful products and lot of information. In all places we received warm welcome and attention. Our guide Alessandro was amusing, knowledgeable, unique. The van was comfortable, small group and well organised agenda through a scenic countryside. The best you can expect. We highly recommend this excursion.

Our group of 5 women loved our guide Ricardo, he was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was attentive to all of us and a fantastic storyteller. Funny and adorable, our group wanted to take him home with us! The food was outstanding as well as the wine. Definitely worth the price and you will not need to have dinner! Very nice pace throughout the day, highly recommend!!

Ricardo hosted us through the factories ...starting with real time Parmesan reggiano making with the Breakfast of Champions, Proscuitto and tastings, Modena balsamic vinegar with many vinegar and wine tastings followed by a wonderful vineyard agrio culture country luncheon....very sumptuous and with a very charming host. We loved learning about all the production standards.

This fun and interesting tour was the highlight of our Bologna visit. Our group of 9 friends learned a lot about the making of parmegian cheese, balsamic vinegar and Prociutto. We had a very personable and funny tour guide, Arianna, who enthusiastically explained the food making processes with a lot of wit and passion. The tour drove us outside of Bologna and through the beautiful Modena countryside. It ended with a fun, delicious, multi-course afternoon meal overlooking the beautiful countryside. This was a fun and memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour.

The highlight of our 11 day trip to Italy. Absolutely fantastic tour, hands on, couldn't be more fun or informative. Truly the best way to appreciate the beauty and purity of Italian cuisine.

The tour was fantastic and informative, not to mention that the food was delicious!! We also have nothing but great things to say about our tour guide Eleanora. She was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and extremely attentive to everyone on the tour. This tour was well worth the money we paid and we highly recommend it!

This is a highly recommended tour which is well organised and interesting. My girlfriend and I learned a lot from this tour, and of course had lots of nice food. The value of this tour is amazing, nearly unlimited food and drinks. The tour guide was super nice and have a great sense of humour. She shows the great Italian passion to all foreigners. If you are travelling to Bologna, this tour will be a 'must'

A great way to learn about and taste the fantastic food of the region.

We visited a cheese factory which makes the famous parmigiano reggiano cheese, a traditional balsamic vinegar factory, and a prosciutto factory. We observed the production process and indulged in some delicious tasting.

Afterwards we went to a countryside restaurant to enjoy 2 hours of several courses of delicious foods and wine from the region.

Our host for the tour, Allessandro, was brilliant in explaining the food-making processes and generally ensuring everyone had a good time. We had our 11 year old daughter with us, and Allessandro got her involved in the day's activities.

A memorable and most enjoyable day!

Pick ups time was early but needed to ensure that we got to our first destination on time which was the parmesan cheese farm. The demo was very informative and the breakfast was lovely - taster of three different aged cheeses, sandwiches and pastries washed down with Lambrusco. After that we visited a prosciutto factory very small and Balsamic Vinegar family run business, both were small in comparison and we were invited to taste the produce. After all this, we had a delicious lunch up in the mountains with a spectacular view. This is a definite MUST DO to anyone visiting Bologna. Thanks to Eleanor who was extremely knowledgable.

This was a great tour that I would definitely recommend. Our guide was enthusiastic, passionate, and knowledgeable making it both an enjoyable and informative day. We were very impressed by the processes for making Parmigiano-Reggiano, Traditional Balsamico, and Prosciutto and the tour definitely changed how we view these products. We enjoyed the tastings at each stage, especially tasting the various forms of balsamic vinegar which are quite confusing, and very expensive to purchase without knowing if you like it! We had the opportunity to purchase products from each of the three producers, which was a nice way of getting special products, with a story/history that we can better appreciate, at a fair price. As others have mentioned the lunch is especially overwhelming with endless food and wine. Do not eat before you go and dont make dinner plans for this day! The food was all superb as well and they clearly did not cut corners to serve a large group. Overall a really great experience!
