This was a fun way to experience Italian food with kids... getting your hands dirty and filling your belly with good food. Niccolo and Martina I hope I got that right did a great job demonstrating and also providing little tips for making our pizzas at home even better.

Nice course.
Good food's
Good teachers.
The only downside was, that acoustic in the room was not so good, so it was sometimes difficult to hear what they told us

We took the pizza and gelato making class during our recent trip to Florence. We had a great experience. The instructor was very patient and helpful. Everything was well organized and easy to follow along in spite of the fact my sons didn’t have a lot of cooking experience. My two teenage sons absolutely loved the class. In fact, they both said it was the best part of our trip. Our instructor even gave us tips on what to look for when buying gelato at a gelateria. I also liked the fact that the class wasn’t too large making it a more intimate setting.I highly recommend this as a fun hands-on activity to do with the family.

I traveled with a group of 16 high school students from the USA to Florence. We took the pizza and gelato class on one of our first nights and the kids loved it! At the end of the week, many of the students said this was there favorite event/dinner of the week. Fun, informative, hands-on literally and a great way to combine an activity and a meal.

Fun experience, great for families. However it's way overpriced... the quality of ingredients is not great, the class is with at least 30 other people, and you really feel the 'assembly line' effect. Lacks a feeling of authenticity.

We attended this class last week. The process of making pizza was fun. You get to do it step-by-step, hands on. For the gelato making you stand as a group around the table while the instructor makes it. The disappointing factors for me were that the pizza crust itself wasnt very great, wasnt the best pizza by a long shot we ate while in Italy. And the gelato tastes more like a lumpy ice cream. The class only lasted two hours as well and I cant see a way it would ever take near 3 hours. I am glad we did it, even with the disappointing factors, because it was something different than sightseeing. And my husband never cooks so it was fun to do it as a couple. I would have liked a more authentic Italian cooking experience, maybe should have booked a pasta class instead.
