The best experience ever! Highly recommend this. Thinking of going back this year as we are off to Europe again.

What a great trip!! Departure point was easy to find and we left on time. Our guide Maria was very informative and quite friendly. En route, we were given good direction on where to go and when to meet for our return. If you are looking for a heavily guided tour, this isn’t for you. Besides the ride there and ride back, we were fully on our own. However, Maria let us know she’d be at certain spots at certain times if needed. That was a nice insurance policy if we got turned around or just plain lost. But we managed to do just fine on our own. I can’t even begin to describe the beauty of Mont Blanc!! You will not be disappointed with it. Make sure to purchase the cable car (can’t go up the mountain without it!). We did not purchase the lunch (seemed a bit steep for such a small meal) and we did purchase the train. But a couple of tips: In the summer, the glacier is a path of dirt and rocks. No snow of course so if you’re expecting a traditional glacier, you won’t get it. The ice cave you are also taking the train for is 450 steps down and then 450 steps back up. We saw quite fit people coming up looking like they were about to die. So we skipped the cave. The train is great for breathtaking views but the glacier-less glacier and staircase of death was a bit of a snooze fest. Departure back to Geneva was on time. All in all, we had about 6-7 hours on our own. Plenty of time to do everything. I would definitely recommend this tour (no way you’d figure transport and locations of those events on your own if you’re a tourist) and would pay again to have all of the plans arranged for me!

Good pace, well planned out. It caters very well for travelers who want different options within the same tour. We selected the one with lunch provided. Managed to cover all our selected sights at a good pace.

Amazing tour - the view from Mont Blanc is totally breaktaking. The cable car is very steep though and not for the faint hearted.

Chamonix is a lovely place with plenty nice restaurants to eat in. Great, well organised tour.

Best tour ever! Really worth seeing Mont Blanc. Our guide Neil was really accommodating and funny. He even gave us tips on where to go in Geneva after the tour. Highly recommend you do this tour. Although, I would not recommend you go see the ice cave at Mer de Glacé. Its 420 steps down, thats 840 steps two way. Even if you think youre really fit, its not worth seeing just a cave with ice walls. Take Neils advice.

Both our guide and driver were competent and pleasant. We extended our Day Trip to include a ride on the Little Red Train part way up Mont Blanc. The ride was interesting but the destination and overall experience was not worth the extra cost.

Amazing Tour!!! Well worth your time to book. It is amazing how much you fit into the day. I did the full activities and it is so worth the money.

The tour itself was cool, probably better to do it when it’s warm like in late spring or summer since it was quite cloudy and cold even in early April. It’s not really much of “guided” tour, the only time the guide was with us was in the bus on the way there and back. You’re basically on your own.

The tour started on time from the bus terminal near Mont Blanc stop in central Geneva. The guide gave us detailed info about how the day was organised along with a map of Chamonix where the meeting places and times were marked. The guide doesnt accompany you on the cable car or the train and stays below in Chamonix. One can explore on their own and meet the group at the times mentioned OR just join back at the end of the day so one is quite flexible. We started back at 5pm and at 0630pm, we were back in Geneva.

Our guide was very helpful and gave us information about Chamonix, Mt Blanc, things to do in Geneva etc etc.

Some tips:
i Dont forget your passport/ID as you will be crossing borders
ii Taking the lunch option isnt mandatory as there are many options to eat in Chamonix. This could save you some money specially if you are a family or group.
iii Check weather forecast. If its too cloudy/rainy/snowy, you wont see a thing up there. Clear weather is very important to enjoy the day to the most
iv Keep an eye on the watch. If you booked the trip with cable car train, you need to hurry a little as there are waiting times for the cable car and train in summers it could be much worse than off-season.
v Ice caves on the glacier were ok not very big. If you have the time and energy, you can climb down and up the 450 steps.
