I arranged this tour for my husband while he was on business, and he said it could not have worked out better!. He thoroughly enjoyed the guide, the people, and most especially, the wine!!

Unbelievable trip. The three wineries were spectacular and very unique - each had very different scales of output, managment, history, facilities, etc. They were all beautiful settlings as well, ranging from royal to rustic. The owners or wine makers met us at each of the locations to provide extra insights about the types of wines they produce and how they produce them.
The meats and cheeses at each location were delicious and much needed because I couldnt stop myself from drinking too much amazing wine. It was such a pleasure hanging out with our tour guide Enrique. I learned a lot about Spanish wines and wine in general, but it was also lovely to hear from a local about Spanish culture, history, and language.
I feel like we lucked out going with a very small group just the 4 of us but Enrique seems very accommodating and it would be worth it to me just to drink wine in those settings.

We visited a variety of wineries and tasted many different wines. Our hosts were very informative. I'd recommend the trip highly.

The wine was wonderful, the wineries and wine makers were very interesting. Even better, we met and made friends with some of the other people on the tour. Enrique was quite knowledgeable but rushed us through the wineries and at the mid afternoon lunch. Enrique walked far ahead of the group and at one point, he was so far ahead of us, we didn't know which direction to go in the underground cellars. We ended up getting back to the starting point, an hour and a half earlier than what the tour description indicated. Enrique did have the restaurant put a candle in my slice of cheesecake and lead the group in a round of Happy Birthday, I did think that was sweet. I would take this tour again, but only if the tour guide was interested in conducting a less rushed tour.

We visited 3 different winery's and they were all incredible. The wines were delicious, the tapas were great and the education on how all of this was made is incredible. Wonderful day! I can't say enough about what a great experience this was. We went to three small, family owned wineries just outside of Madrid. Each experience was a bit unique. For example, at one we went into the vineyards. At another we toured the wine cellars, which were like caves. The presentation at each winery lasted the perfect length of time. We learned interesting things about each, but were never bored. The tastings were generous! After the tastings we enjoyed lunch at an excellent local restaurant. And our guide was terrific. Very friendly, spoke English well, kept us on track and entertained us with lots of information about the area and Spain in general.

This is a wonderful wine tour from start to finish. My fiancé and I have been on numerous wine tours in Europe Italy and France and now this one in Spain and this was well worth the money. The wineries we visited outside Madrid are very small, family-owned operations that date back generations. The wine was quite good and you are offered more than enough. Each winery also has bottles for sale to bring home for very reasonable prices 3-5euro! The only critique is that the lunch should be before the third winery rather than after visiting all the wineries. As is, you're drinking lots of wine without having eaten much. The lunch was delicious and more than enough food for a very reasonable price. Enrique was a wonderful tour guide who knows a lot about wine and answers all of your questions and does a great job translating to English. Enrique makes sure that everyone is enjoying themselves and explains things very well some of the winery owners only speak Spanish. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves wine, is interested in the wine making process, and is looking to bring home some bottles of wine to enjoy at a later date. I would also recommend eating the lunch Enrique recommends and would recommend Enrique's tour without hesitation!

We traveled to three different wineries outside of Madrid. Each was unique in it's own way - but all were magnificent. We tasted white, sparkling, and red wines, and local cheeses and olive oil. Enrique, our guide, was very knowledgeable and made our experience memorable. By way of example, I told Enrique I was enjoying the olives in Madrid much more than olives in the US. During lunch, he had some local olives brought to the table just because I had said I enjoyed them. Enrique chose a perfect place for lunch, and he always went out of the way to show us or tell us about one more interesting tidbit.
