Tour in autobus hop-on/hop-off di Miami

My 83 old mother in lawwith knee problems and her 3 cousins had to wait 75 minutes on the street for pickup. They were told bus would be arriving in 5 Minutes and after it finally showed up the driver had no ear buds for tour , bus was jammed packed , basically they were miserable. They got off at one stop and caught next bus which she said was fine.

City route gives you great history and getting off in Wynnwood for lunch was a highlight.

We purchased tickets online. However, it took about 35 minutes for the office at the big bus stop to print them as they did not understand how the vouchers for the online tickets could be printed. Compounded with the language barrier there, it was really frustrating to try to explain how we had purchased the tickets and get our tickets out.

Moreover, the company runs at a frequency of 30 minutes per stop which is really low for a hop on hop off. But that is something that can be planned for. It just pushes the added pressure on you that if you don't make it to a bus, you are stuck at a stop for 30 minutes.

If you are reading this STOP and go to another bus tour. One if the worst experiences ever. There is no air conditioner. In fact the first bus antifreeze or water was dripping onto my clothes. The guide person was a complete joke, no explanation of any of the sights, yet he was the first to meet us at the door with his hat open asking for tips. Why should I tip for no service.
Finally the self guided headphones either did not work or there was just music. The only time they said anything was to announce the next stop. But they never tell you what stop number was next. You had to look at the map and figure out where you are at.

OK I almost never write a review but this one top them all. Oh it was 93 degrees that day. We had to take a total of 3 bus and all were about the same so we did not get just a lemon. They are all lemons.

We took this overview of Miami and it definitely was worth it. Our guide, Ivory, was excellent! Not only was he friendly, but he was so knowledgeable about the history of Miami and was able to convey information in a clear and entertaining way.
