Itinerary facilities and guide were excellent. Doing everything in both English and Spanish on this English tour was distracting and slowed everything down

My husband and I did this tour as a bucket list activity from America. It was our first time in Italy, and we didn't want to be driving anywhere. Barbara was our tour guide; and she

I took this tour with my daughters in July. Maria was our very capable guide.
Our bus could commodity 40, but we were an international group of about half that number, so we each had plenty of room to relax between stops, enjoy the scenery and even nap!
We visited many iconic sites, including Pisa, but the real fun was at the wine tastings! Over the course of our trip, we visited both in town tasting rooms and countryside vineyards for wine and refreshment.
Without this tour I would never have know about the perfect little town of Pienza, unchanged since the 14th century and stunning, or Siena which hosts a citywide horse race annually. We saw the flags of different neighborhoods and even witnessed a parade through the Piazza.
Rough seas did not permit stops at some of the Cinque Terre villages, but we were impressed by the views from the ports we did visit especially in Portovenere.
We even squeezed in a bit of beach time in Monterosso. You can't keep Jersey girls from the beach!
On our final day Mossimo, our driver, did a fantastic job of negotiating the tiny winding roads to the marble fields of Carrara. After holding our breath for the climb up the mountain, we all gave him a well earned ovation. It was worth the journey to see the gloriously white rock being mined and transported down those same terrifying routes.
Our last stop was perhaps our favorite. At Montecarlo di Lucca we visited our final vineyard and were served in an arbor. Not only the wines, but the balsamic vinegar and the olive oils were excellent. We feasted before our drive back to Rome.
Maria helped us with directions to the train station as we departed the bus. She couldn't have been more helpful.
His was a great value and I would most definitely use Viatour again.

Such a great tour and the size of the group was perfect!
Monterosso and the beach, food and restaurant was divine!
The hotel near Cinqueterre was fine, however the hotel near Tuscany wasn't the great. They had no ramp or lift to access the rooms with our bags, but rather stairs! We made it known in our booking that my elderly mother has difficulty with stairs, however even though the grounds of the hotel were large, we got assigned a room where we had to walk more than 20 stairs....downstairs! where as our younger fit travel colleagues all had grown floor rooms. It was massive fail! The wine tasting San Gimignano was 6 star!! I recommended this tour to a friend of mine who took it last year and loved it!

Every detail in this tour was perfect. Our group size was 13 with a variety of ages and nationalities. Maria was an amazing tour guide with an immense knowledge of the history of the areas. Our tour bus was very comfortable and clean. The itinerary and different cities that we visited was a great blend of history, beauty, and wine! Breakfasts and dinners are included in the package and it states that lunch is on your own, however we were served bread/cheese/meats with all our wine tastings, that we only bought lunch one day. The wine tastings were amazing! Fortunately, the day we were at the Cinque Terre the waters cooperated and we were able to take the boat to the towns. However, you must be flexible and understanding, because if the waters are too rough, then you have to do the tour by train. We waited until 8:30 the morning we were to head to Cinque Terre to find out, but we were well informed the entire trip about this. The hotels were nice and the breakfasts and dinners were lovely. I would highly recommend this tour!

The dinners were terrible at the hotels.

This was a lovely tour. The tour guide Diego was an older gentleman with a dry sense of humor. He kept us informed and the tour ran like clock work. The tour knew where the bottlenecks would be with crowds, etc. Diego got us to shopping as soon as the shops opened and we had 2 hours essentially by ourselves before the hoards of tourists pored in! The trip to Cinque Terra was known to be crowded, especially the boat trip over. Again, Diego told us what to expect and got us to be first in line for the boat over. Cinque Terra was lovely, my only recommendation would be to visit only 2 islands for the day rather than 3 to give a little more time on each. The third island you couldn't do much since we had already had lunch, they wouldn't allow you to sit for a drink, and it was the end of the day and we were too tired to shop. So 2 islands then back to your hotel, would have worked nicer.

The hotel in Sienna was fabulous. The hotel in La Spezia was nice, but the sheets smelled of a petroleum product and it was hard to be in the room or sleep with the odor.

The only issue I had is the tour picked us up close to our hotel, but we were dropped at a centrally located hotel at the end and had to pay for our own taxi back to our hotel. We were told we could get dropped near the Vatican which is where we were picked up from.

The tour was great the bus was cramped and not a lot of leg room some of the accommodation was not up to scratch but the sites and wine tours were fantastic our tour guide Maria was also great thanks Maria.

The selection of sites and cities was excellent with the pace being very enjoyable. One improvement would be to add more live guide information while in Pisa and the boat ride through Cinque Terre. Also, when asked to fill out the survey on the bus at end of trip one should never be asked to include one's name.
