For what was not a cheap tour, we, and most of our tour group, felt cheated. The tour guide was so disinterested, he did not speak or comment at all, either going, or on the return journey to Cordoba. In fact, he took a seat at the rear of the bus, and slept for the return journey. He rushed and hurried our group off the bus, not giving any consideration for tour group members with mobility issues. For this, he should be disciplined, and sent on a refresher course for tour guides, and how to treat tourists! The was no free time within the Mosque/Cathedral, and approx. 2hrs given for lunch, before returning to Seville. The 'optional tour' to Carmona, didn't exist, and all of the group with whom I spoke said they felt cheated and rushed all day. The single exception was the young lady guide who walked us around the great Mosque/Cathedral, and Old city of Cordoba - she was excellent. Remember, there are mroere than just this tour operator provider on the market when you check out tours from Seville!

Information provided by the tour guide is very interesting and informative. The mosque and alcazar is very beautiful. Only the tour is too short and wish it to be longer. And the tour guide may be a little bit too rush to move. Others are perfect.

First, there was some difficulty in sorting out the particulars. I will review this further in my review of a Viator trip to Granada taken two days before, but suffice it to say that a telephone conversation with the office instructed us to go to one pickup point, an email to another, and no response to a returned email. Luckily we were able to make contact and started off. The guide on the bus was cheerful and full of information, but this good introduction faded when being turned over to the local guide for the Mosque, etc. Although this guide was cheerful and tried to be quite helpful, her command of English was lacking, this only made worse by the audio equipment we were provided. By the end of the tour, almost all of us had given up on understanding her explanations and on the terrible equipment. She tried really hard, I must give her credit for that, but the organization, both Viator and the local agency, could do a lot better and I would be hesitant about booking with them again they need to do better.

Our guide spoke in very rapid fire English that was often difficult to follow. She was trying to provide as much info as possible but it was too much to absorb. Also, the synagogue closed in Dec. 2017 for an indefinite period, so the description of the tour should reflect this.

First of all, just want to say that the tour guides were very friendly and deserve a thumbs up.
-Separated Spanish and English groups
-Confusion when separating the groups, wasted time
-VERY little time in Alcazar
-Actual tour 3 hours, 2 hour free time
Just wait outside office.

Excellent tour! We had a wonderful lady called Ana giving us a tour when we reached. We toured the Alcazar first - the views were amazing and Ana gave us a wonderful insight into history of all locations, cultures and religions.

I also did the walking tour in Carmona - pay that bit extra and see the area, as all you would have done would be dropped off in the town center for a couple of hours if you had not opted for this.

My favorite was seeing the Cordoba Mosque. Words and pictures cannot do it justice. It is a real gem. The tour guide gave us time to explore the area and mosque at leisure.

As we went in January the Alcazar garden was not in full bloom which would only happen in the summer. Pros in summer - gardens would look even more spectacular. Cons - summer weather can easily reach between 45 - 50 degree and overcrowded with tourists.
Cordoba Synagogue is currently closed - no date has been provided on when it will re-open.

Our giude was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate. All was fine with our group. The tour is highly recommended. Just one point: The pick-up time was origianlly 8 am but was changed to 7:45. What if we did not get the message? When we arrived on time, no one was waiting for us. Shouldn't they come at least 10 minutes earlier than customers?

Felt cheated when our access to the Alcazar was restricted to the garden area and not at the top of the fortress. Anna our guide told us that the access has closed however we see tourists climbing up and down it, so it was very disappointing.

Whilst Anna was very informative, however it was too much of an information overload and I believe half of us lost interest. Halfway through a couple of us lost the tour group and called the supposed line given to us in case anyone gets lost, to our dismay the number given to us led to the bus driver which was of no use to us since he wasn't with the tour group!. We finally spotted them at the Mezquita Cathedral however, we missed out the key attraction explanation part of the tour. We ALMOST couldn't enter the Mezquita if we hadn't spotted the tour group earlier, and the tour leader made no effort in ensuring our attendance.

Carmona is a waste of time btw - is a city of the dead. Not only were we expected to take a steep hike up, we hiked up to nothing.

Also, there was an error in the booking and my credit card was charged twice for this tour.

Very disappointing for such an expensive tour package. All in all, I definitely will not recommend this tour at all. Cordoba is a small town, can easily roam on your own without any guide.

Very much enjoyed our day trip from Seville to Cordoba. Our comfortable bus arrived as planned. Because so many of us were still sleeping, the guide on the bus told us he'd share information on the way back. After a quick stop for restrooms and some breakfast, we were greeted by Anna, a wonderful guide. She kept us on a fast pace as we walked through the Alcazar, the Jewish Quarter and the Mesquita. She was highly knowledgeable and energetic, and her English was superb and her accent was charming. Well worthwhile
