I visited on September 13, 2018 on the 7:30am excursion. This is a five-star trip to take, despite two small issues. One issue -- I was very unsure during the initial pick-up. I opted for the Hotel Park location and so many buses, taxis, vans etc. pass through going to similar destinations, that I didn't know if I was getting on the right one or not. Luckily I did, because the tour guide on the actual bus down by the port, Silvio, was fantastic. He was very knowledgable about Bosnia and Herzegovina and willing to answer any and all questions. The walking tour guide in Mostar was also awesome. She knew literally everything there was to know about the town. Mostar itself (Počitelj as well) is beautiful. Markets, beautiful architecture, people and food as far as the eye could see. Which leads me to issue number two, which is that there just wasn't enough time to properly explore Mostar. Realistically, to explore the town and outskirts, two hours isn't really enough, when you factor in a sit-down meal. I did still see a ton of sites, so not too big of a complaint. The trip to Kravice waterfalls was excellent. Swimming in the gorgeous, refreshing water there was quite the experience. It was pretty packed, but there was no issue finding space to chill. The ride there and back went very smoothly (the bus driver was a real pro on the mountains we drove over). All in all, I highly recommend this trip, but if you really want to explore Mostar, you may need a full day.

Mostar is an absolute must when visiting near by areas. It’s so beautiful with a rich and interesting history. I did the waterfalls and rented a kayak and I was so happy I did. The tour guide in Mostar was great too!

Tour was very good. The guide Egor (I think) was very professional and informative, with perfect English. This trip is definitely worth doing and is value for money for all that you see.

Our tour guide was wonderful! We had an excellent time on this trip. The Mostar country side was beautiful, we spent just the perfect amount of time in the medieval town and the Kravice Waterfalls was amazing!

This was, without doubt, the highlight of my holiday. Mario the tour guide and Ivan the driver with his great sense of humour! were really knowledgeable and informative. The drive to Mostar took about 4 hours, with a coffee break en route. There was a choice after visiting Mostar to see either the Kravice Waterfalls or the pilgrimage town of Medjugorje, where children reported seeing the Virgin Mary in 1981. I opted for the waterfalls, which were very picturesque, with many bathers in the water to get some respite from the heat. We were lucky both going and returning as there were no great queues at the border crossing between Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which could have eaten into the time spent in Mostar. There we met up with our tour guide Tariq. Mostar is a very pretty city with cobbled walkways in the centre, but be prepared for the hoards of tourists. Also be aware that the famous bridge is incredibly smooth and slippery in the burning sun- it could be quite hazardous. On either side of the bridge there was a narrow section which was less dangerous to walk on, and also guide rails to hold on to. I learnt, amongst a whole load of other facts, that Mostar was in the Herzegovina part of the country, and that there was still real tension between the ethnic groups living there- the Catholic Croat Bosnians, the Muslim Bosnians and the Orthodox Serb Bosnians, each grouping with their own President. There was plenty of evidence of the war in the 90s, with the bullet -strewn facades of houses which have as yet not been replaced. So very sad. After a tour and learning about the history of Mostar and the famous bridge we were taken to a well-preserved Bosnian Muslims aka Bosniacs house where we were shown the living arrangements and told some very humorous anecdotes! After that we had an opportunity to try the fixed- meal 10 euros typically Bosnian lunch. I think it was called Cevapcici kebabs with naans - delicious, and from the terrace where we dined there was a lovely view of the bridge. We were told by Tariq that, in order to earn money, young men jumped from the bridge into the river below. No safety gear is used, and the river is not so deep, resulting in horrendous cases of broken bones and worse. I counted 3 jumpers, fortunately all of them OK after their perilous jumps. I tried to capture them jumping on film but without success as it was all over in what seemed like a millisecond- way too fast for my camera. After that we returned to Split via Kravice or Medjugorje. A long but wonderful day. A word of warning: I couldnt use my credit cards but Croatian Kuna and Euros were widely accepted and I requested any change to be in the same currency without encountering any problem, so I didnt have to exchange any currency into Bosnian Marka.

Amazing trip with great tour guides! If I go back to Croatia, I will definitely book with the same company.

It was a wonderful trip. Our tourist guide Igor and driver Andrea are so friendly and helpful. Igor introduces nicely the history, culture and present of the city Mostar and Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was interesting to know that. The scenery of the whole trip was wonderful.
