Attraversa l'incantevole campagna dell'Ungheria occidentale in questo tour guidato in pullman a Budapest, una città ricca di tradizioni situata sulle rive del Danubio, dove potrai gustare un pranzo e visitare le principali attrazioni della città.
Of all the Viator tours we have taken, this was our worst. The bus ride to and from Budapest from Prague was over half of the 12 hour day. The time in Budapest was a stop at a local restaurant across from Heros Square for an hour then a drive by bus ride around town for an hour before arriving at the castle for a guided tour of the area but without being able to go into the sights. Our guide was very abrupt and abrasive for this hour and a half making the time unpleasant. We were then taken back to the city center and dropped off for about 2 hours to do as we pleased but were really limited to what could be visited other than shopping in a modern area without much city character for a real feeling of this historic city.
Everything was wonderful, though the tour guide in Budapest was mediocre. She repeated much of her facts and information. When I asked questions, she often answered by repeating information I'd already heard.
The lunch spot was perfect.
Budapest was beautiful and definetly want to come back. The best part was the lunch. The Goulash was the best I ever had. I was not happy that the guide took us into a little store to buy souveniers and it was obvious that they had a relationship and it felt awkward. In addition, the bus dropped us off downtown for our 3hrs of free time when I felt that the area we stopped at where the government buildings were had a lot more to offer as far as sights. So for 3hrs, the only option was to really shop. It was winter, so walking along the water was not appealing. I would highly recommend budapest but they have some work to make this trip better.
